O'Dell Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman Bethany O'Dell (Lincoln, R.I.) has been named the Baden Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the sixth time while Kaitlin Foley (Albany, N.Y.) and Briana McFadden (Wheaton, Md.) were also recognized for their performances last week. The Crusaders went 1-1 in the last week of regular season play and earned a third place seed going into the Patriot League tournament.

O'Dell reached double-digit scoring in both of Holy Cross' contests last week with 12 points versus Colgate and 11 at Lehigh. The freshman guard grabbed 13 rebounds for the week and drained two shots from long range in each outing. This is the second-consecutive Patriot League Baden Rookie of the Week award for O'Dell and her sixth of the season.

Foley averaged 16.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg, while shooting 56.5% from the floor and shooting 80.0% from the foul line. McFadden scored 11 points versus Colgate.

Holy Cross will take on sixth seeded Lafayette Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the Patriot League quarterfinal hosted by Navy.
