Holy Cross Takes Break, Prepares For Ann S. Batchelder Invitational

- Holy Cross will be off until it returns to action when it takes part in the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational, on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14, at the Nehoiden Golf Club in Wellesley, Mass. The Crusaders last took part in the Batchelder Invitational in the fall of 2009, when they placed sixth out of seven schools.
- Two weeks ago, the Crusaders placed 11th out of 15 schools at the Mount Holyoke Invitational, held at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass. Holy Cross finished with a total of 714 strokes as a team over two rounds
- Senior Kelly Reagan (Mendota Heights, Minn.) was the team's top finisher at the Mount Holyoke Invitational, finishing in 30th place with a total of 172 strokes over two rounds. She shot an 83 during the second day of the event, good for the lowest 18-hole total during her time at Holy Cross. Over the course of her collegiate career, Reagan has averaged 95.6 strokes per round.
- Freshman Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.) tied for 36th place at the Mount Holyoke Invitational with 176 total strokes over two rounds. Through two events played this year, she now leads the team with an average of 87.5 strokes per round.
