Crusaders Prepare For Hawk Invitational

• The Holy Cross women's golf team opened up its 2013 spring season with a dual-match defeat to Winthrop at the Par-72 Waterford, Golf Club in Rock Hill, S.C. on Saturday, March 9. The Crusaders shot a team score of 382 (+94), while the Eagles combined to shoot 313 (+25).
• The Crusaders return to action on March 30-31, when they will compete in the Hawk Invitational.
• Crusader sophomore captain Morgan Powers (Glastonbury, Conn.) led Holy Cross with a ninth place finish and an 18-hole score of 92 (+20). She has the second best 18-holt average on the team at 91.7.
• Freshman Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.) placed in a tie for 10th place with a score of 93 (+21), as classmate Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) recorded a 95 (+23), which put her in 12th place.
• Cameron leads the Crusaders with an average score of 89.4, as Deneen ranks fourth on the squad at 96.0.
