Holy Cross Women's Golf Names 2008-09 Team Captains

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf program has named seniors Flynn Govern (Fairfield, Conn.), Alicia Molt (Northbridge, Mass.) and Elisabeth Sexton (Walpole, Mass.) as 2008-09 team captains. Govern is a two-time member of the Big South Presidential Honor Roll. This season she placed in 34th at the Sacred Heart Invitational, while she finished 36th at the 2007 Williams Spring Classic. Molt is also a two-time member of the Big South Presidential Honor Roll. She placed 38th at the 2007 Big South Championship and finished 41st at the 2007 Williams Spring Classic. Sexton was a member of the 2006-07 Big South Presidential Honor Roll. This year she had a 42nd place finish at the 2008 Williams Spring Classic, while she placed 37th at the 2007 Big South Championship and she finished in 33rd at the 2007 Williams Spring Classic. |
