WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior forward Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from December 7-13. Kratchmer helped lead the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team to an 8-0 victory over Plymouth State in its only contest last week.
During the Plymouth State game, Kratchmer totaled two goals and two assists. Her first goal came at the 11:20-mark of the second period to give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead, and proved to be the game winner. Kratchmer would add a second goal in the third period, in addition to assisting on a pair of goals by sophomore forward Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.).
On the season, Kratchmer now ranks second on the team in scoring with 17 points on eight goals and nine assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has totaled 41 goals and 45 assists for 86 points.
Holy Cross is off until Tuesday, January 5, when it plays host to Colby at 7:00 p.m.
