CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Eight members of the 2013-2014 women's ice hockey team have been named to the ECAC East All-Academic team announced by the league today. This marks the 13th year that the conference has named an All-Academic team. A total of 97 student-athletes representing all 12 ECAC East teams earned the honor based on outstanding performance in the classroom. To be named to the All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
Seniors Amanda Gallagher (Park Ridge, Ill.) and Emily Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) each earned the honor for the third time while senior Kylee Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) and juniors Krista Manzanares (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) and Kate Reilly (Natick, Mass.) each earned the honor for a second straight year. Juniors Madison Schneider (Fort Myers, Fla.) and Meaghan Sullivan (Brockton, Mass.) and sophomore Kati Goguen (Acton, Mass.) each made the team for the first time.
Holy Cross finished the 2013-2014 season with a record of 18-8-1 overall, going 11-4-1 in ECAC East play.
