Women's Lacrosse To Start Season Versus Bryant & #20 Boston College

Saturday, Feb. 16, vs. #20 Boston College, Worcester, Mass., 3:00 p.m.

  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will kick off the season on Wednesday, Feb. 13, when it plays at Bryant at 7:00 p.m. This is the season-opener for both teams. The Crusaders will then host No. 20 Boston College on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 3:00 p.m. This will be the season-opener for the Eagles.
  • Last season, the Crusaders won at Bryant, 14-5, on Feb. 22. The Bulldogs went 6-10 (5-4 NEC) last year. Boston College defeated Holy Cross, 16-5, last season on Feb. 17 in Worcester. Last year, the Eagles went 10-8 (1-4 ACC). 
  • Senior Taylor Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) and sophomore Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.) received Preseason All-Patriot League honors. The Crusaders are picked second in the Patriot League preseason poll.
  • Last season, the Crusaders went 10-8 overall and 4-2 in the Patriot League. Holy Cross made it to its fifth Patriot League championship game in program history as it fell to No. 1 seed Navy. The No. 3 seeded Crusaders defeated No. 2 seed Colgate by a 13-12 score in the semifinals. The team returns 17 players and eight starters. The Crusaders have also added nine freshmen and one sophomore to the roster.
