Women’s Lacrosse Places 11 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. Eleven members of the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team have been selected to the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office.

The members of the team to be named to the Academic Honor Roll were seniors Maddie Carrellas (Middletown, R.I.) and Kat Sutton (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.); juniors Corinne Caracausa (North Wales, Pa.), Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.), Sarah Weber (Summit, N.J.); sophomores Kim Corkum (Ipswich, Mass.), Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.); and freshmen MacKenzie Bozel (Hunt Valley, Md.), Jersey Burns (Salem, N.H.), Lindsay O'Callaghan (Rye, N.Y.) and Margie Smith (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) 

A total of 118 student-athletes from women's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
