2011-2012: The coxswain of the second varsity eight in all nine spring regattas..the second varsity eight won races against Simmons and Smith (March 31); Bates, Trinity, Wellesley, WPI and Rochester (April 1); William Smith and Ithaca (April 21); and Connecticut (April 22)...Crusaders placed fifth out of 28 boats at the Knecht Cup (April 14-15)...second varsity eight earned a third place finish at the Patriot League Championship (April 29) and a second place finish at the New England Championship (May 5)...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2010-2011: The coxswain of the novice eight at the 40th Schuylkill Regatta (Oct. 30) as the team tied for first out of 39 teams for the points trophy…coxswain for the novice eight in eight spring regattas…part of the novice eight which won dual-races with New Hampshire (April 2) and Simmons (April 3), finished first in a race against Boston College and Connecticut (April 17), placed fifth at the New England Championship (April 30) and finished fourth at the ECAC National Invitational (May 8).

Before Holy Cross: Member of the Essex Rowing Club for Travis Gardner and Mike Irwin…member of the novice eight boat that won the NEMA Championship…also a four-year member and senior captain of the varsity soccer team at Presentation of Mary Academy…member of the student council and National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Davis Giangrande and Karen Gallagher Giangrande…has two brothers (Peter and Jason) and one sister (Liza)...a Psychology major.
