WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross varsity men's and women's rowing teams hosted the inaugural Ergathon for Cancer in efforts to raise money and support Coaches vs. Cancer. The event was held at the Hart Center on Saturday, January 26, and ran from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
During the Ergathon for Cancer, the men's and women's teams rowed a combined total of 650,000 meters and raised over $1,500 for research.
Coaches vs. Cancer is an organization whose mission is "to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living among students, faculty, school staff, fans and the community at large through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities and advocacy programs."
