Women’s Rowing Wins Two Races On Lake Quinsigamond

WORCESTER, Mass. – The varsity eight and varsity four each placed first as the Holy Cross women's rowing team competed versus six schools on Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday. The Crusaders took on Colby, Connecticut College, Ithaca, New Hampshire, Trinity and William Smith.

The Crusaders placed first in the varsity eight race out of five boats with a time of 6:49.6, while William Smith placed second with a time of 6:50.53. Ithaca took the second varsity eight race out of five boats with a time of 7:09.8 as the Crusaders placed second with a time of 7:14.15. The varsity four placed first out of three boats with a time of 8:00.7, while New Hampshire placed second with a time of 8:11.95. Ithaca's third varsity eight won the novice eight race out of four boats with a time of 7:33.8 as the Crusaders placed fourth with a time of 7:44.87.
