2012-2013: Member of the second varsity eight in all nine spring regattas…the second varsity eight defeated Smith (March 30) and placed first versus Rutgers and George Mason (April 27)…second varsity eight placed second at the Patriot League Championship (May 17), which was the best ever result for a Holy Cross second varsity eight boat at the Patriot League Championship…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2011-2012: Member of the club eight boat that placed third out of 16 boats at the 41st Schuylkill Regatta (Oct. 29)...rowed for the second varsity eight in all nine spring regattas...the second varsity eight won races against Simmons and Smith (March 31); Bates, Trinity, Wellesley, WPI and Rochester (April 1); William Smith and Ithaca (April 21); and Connecticut (April 22)...Crusaders placed fifth out of 28 boats at the Knecht Cup (April 14-15)...second varsity eight earned a third place finish at the Patriot League Championship (April 29) and a second place finish at the New England Championship (May 5)...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2010-2011: Rowed for the novice eight at the 40th Schuylkill Regatta (Oct. 30) as the team tied for first out of 39 teams for the points trophy…member of the varsity four that placed third at the Patriot League Championship (April 24)…rowed for the second varsity eight for four spring regattas, including victories over New Hampshire (April 2) and Simmons (April 3) in dual-races…member of the novice eight in four spring regattas, including a first-place finish in the race with Boston College and Connecticut (April 17), a fifth-place finish at the New England Championship (April 30) and a fourth-place finish at the ECAC National Invitational (May 8)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Rowed for the Riverfront Recapture for coach Chris Hayes…captain in 2009…varsity four finished second at the Coastweeks Regatta in 2009…won the Novice of the Year award in 2008…also a four-year member of the indoor and outdoor track teams at Northwest Catholic H.S., winning MVP honors for the outdoor team…one-year member of the varsity soccer team…a Student Council Senator and member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Joseph Marakovits and Susan Wiskowski…has one brother (Gregory) and one sister (Kimberly)…brother, Gregory, was on the baseball team at Stonehill College…sister, Kimberly, was a member of the rowing team at Boston College…a Psychology and Sociology major.
