Women’s Rowing Competes At Head Of The Charles

BOSTON- The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed at the 49th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River in Boston.

On Saturday, the Crusaders placed 29th in the club four race out of 45 boats with a time of 20:39.465 as Fordham (18:39.390) won the event. Holy Cross then placed 12th in the club eight race out of 29 boats with a time of 17:43.902. Radcliffe (16:41.930) placed first. On Sunday, the Crusaders placed 37th in the championship eight race out of 39 boats with a time of 19:00.416. Cambridge Boat Club (15:59.549) won the event.

The Crusaders return to action when they conclude their fall season at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 26. The novice team will compete at the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge on Oct. 26.
