PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team posted three top five finishes at the 41st Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday to conclude its fall season.
The open four placed second out of 40 boats with a time of 16:52.64. Duquesne won the event with a time of 16:52.23. The freshman eight then tallied a fifth place finish out of 33 boats with a time of 16:49.95. Old Dominion (15:37.28) placed first. The Crusaders posted a 13th place finish in the open club eight competition out of 40 boats with a time of 17:13.71. Drexel (16:18.60) won the event. Holy Cross "B" placed fifth in the open doubles race out of nine boats with a time of 21:51.09, while Holy Cross "A" was eighth with a time of 25:06.74. The open championship eight placed eighth out of 20 boats with a time of 16:37.73, while Trinity (15:41.43) won the event.
