Women’s Rowing Falls To Rutgers
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed versus Rutgers on Sunday morning on the Raritan River. The Scarlet Knights won all four races on the day.
Rutgers won the varsity eight race with a time of 6:50.2 as Holy Cross tallied a time of 6:58.4. The Scarlet Knights took the second varsity eight race with a time of 7:05.5, while the Crusaders posted a time of 7:16.0. Rutgers earned the victory in the third varsity eight race with a time of 7:23.1, while Holy Cross tallied a time of 7:32.0. The Scarlet Knights also won the varsity four race as Rutgers "A" had a time of 7:41.5, Rutgers "B" finished second with a time of 8:15.3 and the Crusaders placed third with a time of 8:27.1.
The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, May 4 when they compete at the Eastern Sprints on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
