Women’s Rowing Names 2014-2015 Captains

Adrienne Randall & Kate Diggins

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing program has named seniors Kate Diggins (Holden, Mass.) and Adrienne Randall (Leominster, Mass.) as its 2014-2015 captains.  

Diggins is a member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy and earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll accolades as a freshman. Diggins missed the majority of the 2013-2014 season due to an injury, but was a member of the varsity eight that placed third at the Textile River Regatta. Diggins also rowed for the varsity eight as a freshman and sophomore. 

Randall is also member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy. She rowed for the varsity eight in all 10 regattas this season. She was also a member of the open four that placed second out of 40 boats at the 41st Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. Randall rowed for the varsity eight as a sophomore and the second varsity eight as a freshman.

As sophomores both Diggins and Randall were members of the varsity eight in all 13 regattas. They also won the gold medal in the open pair race at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The varsity eight won the Irving-Christensen Cup, placed second out of 34 boats at the Knecht Cup, placed first in the club eight race out of 17 boats at the Textile River Regatta, finished first out of 48 boats at the Snake Regatta, placed second in the club eight race out of 34 boats at the Head of the Charles Regatta and finished third in the open eight race out of 27 boats at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
