WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan Jr. and head women's rowing coach Patrick Diggins have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2009 season, which kicks off on Mar. 28, when the Crusaders host Coast Guard and Wesleyan at Lake Quinsigamond.
Holy Cross continues its competition in Worcester, hosting two races: Smith and Radcliffe on Mar. 29 and New Hampshire and Williams on Apr. 4. On Apr. 5, the Crusaders will take to the road, traveling to Massachusetts. The women's team returns home to host Trinity and Smith (Apr. 10), Connecticut College, Ithaca, Tufts and Williams (Apr. 18) and Boston College (Apr. 25).
On Apr. 26, the Crusaders will compete in the Patriot League Championships, held in Camden, N.J. Holy Cross will conclude its competition at home, hosting the New England Championship on May 2 and the New England Four Championship on May 3. Holy Cross will return to Camden, N.J. on May 10, competing in the ECAC National Invitational. The Crusaders will finish the 2009 season in Sacramento, Calif. at the IRA National Rowing Championship, competing in the lightweight races.
