  • The Holy Cross women's soccer team will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 13, hosting Lafayette at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium at 5:00 p.m. The Crusaders are now 5-7-1 (1-2-0 Patriot League) on the season.
  • The Leopards enter the game with a record of 4-8-2 (1-2-0 Patriot League). Lafayette is coming off three straight losses to Ithaca and conference foes Navy and American. Senior Jill Dozier leads the team with seven goals and two assists for 16 points. In goal, senior Lauren Smedley has seen most of the action with a record of 4-7-2 while holding a .765 save percentage and 1.41 goals against average.
  • Holy Cross currently sits just ahead of Lafayette in the Patriot League standings in fifth place with three points. Navy and Colgate are at the top of the standings with nine points each and 3-0 records in the conference.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Carly McCabe (Barrington, R.I.) remains the conference leader in saves per game (6.30) and save percentage (.875). Freshman Annie Galvin (Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomore Gina Righini (Salem, N.H.) lead the team with eight points each.
