Women’s Soccer Has 13 Named To PL Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Thirteen members of the Holy Cross women's soccer team were named to the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Seniors Tricia Giglio (Acton, Mass.) and Alyssa Heiser (Bristol, Conn.) both were named to the Honor Roll for the fourth time in their careers, as they posted perfect 4.00 grade-point averages during the 2013 fall semester.

Junior goalie Carly McCabe (Barrington, R.I.) earned the laurel for the third time in her career, while seniors Sarah Kelley (Bedford, N.H.) and Cassie Muzik (Massapequa, N.Y.); junior Gina Righini (Salem, N.H.) and sophomore Megan Greineder (East Greenwich, R.I.) were named to the Honor Roll for the second time.

They are joined by junior Ally Pasquariello (Suffield, Conn.) and senior Gaby Ransom (Concord, N.H.); sophomores Annie Galvin (Attleboro, Mass.), Maggie Higgins (Chatham N.J.) and Sarah Price (Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J.) and freshman Brooke Holle (Upper Saddle River, N.J.), who also earned the honor.

A total of 147 student-athletes from women's soccer teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester.
