Women's Soccer Announces 2014 Freshman Class

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head women's soccer coach Darren Gallagher has announced the 2014 incoming freshman class for the Crusaders. Nine student-athletes will join the program in the fall of 2014.

"It is my pleasure to welcome our 2014 freshmen class to Holy Cross," Gallagher said. "This is a very impressive group of players that bring quality and experience gained at the elite levels of US youth soccer. This is a group of young women whose have garnered soccer accolades and achievements that are sure to create a buzz of excitement with our supporters. As we look towards the 2014 campaign, these nine players will add excellence and depth in a number of key positions."

The nine players making up this years' class include four forwards, two midfielders, a pair of defenders and one midfielder/forward. The Crusaders return 16 letterwinners from its 2013 team. Holy Cross' fall schedule will be released at a later date.
