         <description><![CDATA[Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head women's soccer coach Deb Cox have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2008 season. Holy Cross is scheduled to play a total of 19 games this season, including 10 contests at home at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. The Crusaders will open the season with two straight home games against New Hampshire (Aug. 24) and St. Francis (Aug. 29). Holy Cross will then play at Providence (Sept. 4), before hosting Binghamton (Sept. 7).]]></description>

Seniors Kristine Corkum of the women's lacrosse team, Katie Fitzpatrick of the women's volleyball team, Brent Franklin of the men's ice hockey team and Jessica Pietrowicz of the women's soccer team are the athletes who have been honored. A midfielder, Boland has played in all of Holy Cross' 56 games over the last three years with 54 starts. She has 10 goals and five assists for 25 career points. Boland is coming off a season in which she ranked third on the team in goals (two) and points (five). As a sophomore she led the team in goals (seven) and points (16).]]></description>

Pietrowicz led the Holy Cross women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Lafayette in its only game last week.Against Lafayette, Pietrowicz made six saves while holding the Leopards scoreless for 90 minutes. The shutout was her first of the season, and the third of her career as a Crusader.]]></description>
