Durham went on to retire 13 of the final 14 batters she faced but the Crusaders could not get anything going offensively. Jarvis went three-for-four with three singles and a stolen base and junior Alex Gustafson (Medford, Mass.) went two-for-three with a double for Holy Cross.

Springer retired the next two batters in a row to keep the Crusaders scoreless.
