Crusaders Ready To Travel To Rhode Island

- The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team returns to action on Dec. 4-5, traveling to the Harold Anderson Invitational in Kingston, R.I. Last year the Crusaders finished fifth out of six teams at the Invitational.
- Last year, senior captain Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) led Holy Cross with a first place and two third place finishes at the meet. Gousman took first place in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.36 and placed third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:17.50 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:31.46. Gousman has already bettered her time in all three events with a season-best time of 1:07.48 in the 100 breast and 2:27.83 in the 200 breast at the Terrier Invitational on Nov. 20. She as well as a season-best time of 2:15.79 in the 200 IM against Siena on Oct. 28.
- Sophomore Annie O'Shea (Washington, D.C.) is also swimming faster this season. Last year she took third in the 200 fly with a time of 2:13.35, but has surpassed that mark with a time of 2:12. 24 at the Terrier Invitational.
