Women's Swimming And Diving Downed By Siena, 192-99
LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team traveled to Siena on Wednesday evening for a dual meet against the Saints, falling by a score of 192-99. Seniors Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) and Katelyn Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) and sophomore diver Alicia LiCalzi (New Canaan, Conn.) recorded second place finishes.
Kristen Desrosiers took a pair of events. She touched the wall at 11:00.74 in the 1,000 freestyle and 1:05.41 in the 100 butterfly. Katelyn Desrosiers finished second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:37.69. LiCalzi finished second in both the one and three meter dives, finishing with scores of 153.70 and 128.75, respectively. Holy Cross added eight third place finishes in the meet.
The women's swimming and diving team will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 27, traveling to Springfield for a dual meet at 1:00 p.m.
