Holy Cross Women's Tennis Names 2012-2013 Team Captain

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's tennis program has named senior Jessica DeSimone (Lincoln, R.I.) as the 2012-2013 team captain.

DeSimone went 2-0 overall at singles and 13-7 in doubles play last season. The Crusader ranked second on the team in doubles for the season and went 3-2 in doubles tournament play. DeSimone registered a 2-0 record at No.6 singles. She has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive seasons and was named to the 2012 Academic All-Patriot League team. She also serves as a team representative in the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.

The next match will be at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts on Sepetmebr 27 at 3:30 p.m. against Hartford.
