2010: Raced in the 200, 400, 500 and 800 for the Crusaders...placed 14th in the 400 at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship with a season-best time of 1:02.65...ran a season-best time of 27.94 seconds in the 200 at the UMass Spring Meet.

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity track and field team at Westerly H.S...team captain junior and senior year...received the United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award...earned Academic All-State in 2008-2009...named Providence Journal Winter All-State Athlete in 2008...member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Christine Sylvia...has one brother (Steven) and two sisters (Jaclyn (Holy Cross class of 2010) and Megan)...has not yet declared a major.
