WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior Erin Linnehan (Litchfield, N.H.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from February 13-19. Linnehan helped lead the Holy Cross women's indoor track and field team to a fourth place finish at last weekend's Patriot League Championship.
At the Patriot League Championship, Linnehan won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.83 seconds, beating out Taylor Funk of Bucknell by .01 of a second. She earned her spot in the finals of the event by running the third-fastest time in the qualifying heats at 8.93 seconds. Linnehan broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles with the time of 8.83 seconds, and has qualified for next weekend's New England Championship in the event.
The Crusaders return to action this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25, when they take part in the New England Championship at Boston University.
