Women's Track Concludes Season At ECAC Outdoor Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Holy Cross women's track and field team concluded the 2007-2008 season by taking part in the 2008 ECAC outdoor track and field championship, held at Princeton University's William Weaver Track & Field Stadium. Sophomore Tiffany Reid (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) earned a 31st-place finish in the 200-meter dash, in a time of 25.07. Reid then teamed with freshman M. Siobhan Straub (Mattituck, N.Y.), freshman Caitlin White (Miller Place, N.Y.) and junior Dannielle Meder (Chicopee, Mass.) in the 4x100-meter relay to place 24th with a time of 48.45. In addition, the 4x800-meter relay team of junior Alexandra Swiatocha (Mahopac, N.Y.), junior Katie Clay (Beverly, Mass.), sophomore Maureen Meagher (Allentown, Pa.) and freshman Courtney Burgess (Dracut, Mass.) finished 19th in a time of 9:19.31. |
