Holy Cross Volleyball Swept By Lafayette, 3-0

EASTON, Pa. - Two Leopards recorded double-digit kills as the Holy Cross volleyball team fell at Lafayette, 3-0, on Friday night at Kirby Sports Center by scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-21. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-15 overall (0-3 Patriot League), while the Leopards improve to 9-5 on the season (1-2 Patriot League).

Junior libero Angela Chisholm (Millis, Mass.) had 14 digs, as she has posted double-digit digs 11 times this season, including eight straight times. Senior Samantha Surface (Fresno, Calif.) and freshman Megan Lynch (Mendham, N.J.) each tallied eight kills, while junior setter Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) posted 22 assists.

The Leopards were led by Kari Horn who had 18 digs and Kayly Elmer who recorded 16 kills. Cara Mulholland tallied 12 kills, while Ashton Rossi had 39 assists.

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, Oct. 3, when they play at Lehigh at 4:00 p.m.
