WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman outside hitter Megan Lynch (Mendham, N.J.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 5-11. Lynch led the Holy Cross volleyball team to a 1-1 record last week, with a 3-0 victory over Bryant and a 3-0 loss to Army.
In the victory over Bryant, Lynch posted a team-high 13 kills with only two errors in 29 total attacks, in addition to recording five digs and two service aces. She then totaled seven kills, six digs and a block assist in the Army match.
On the season, Lynch leads the team with 223 kills, to go along with 145 digs, 17 total blocks, 15 service aces and a .206 hitting percentage.
The Crusaders (2-17 overall, 0-5 Patriot League) return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 13, when they travel to Quinnipiac for a 7:00 p.m. match.
