2009: Missed the
entire season due to injury.
2008: Played eight matches and 10
sets…recorded two kills and two digs...joined the team prior
to the 2008 season, after not playing as a freshman.
Before Holy Cross: Three-year member of the
varsity volleyball team at Hot Springs H.S. in Hot Springs, S.D.,
for head coach Dennis Northrup…team captain as a junior and
senior…set a school single-season record for best serving
percentage in 2006 (97.7 percent)…as a senior in 2006, she
recorded 230 kills, 90 total blocks, 53 aces and 278
digs…team won the Black Hills Conference, District 15A and
Region 8A championships in all three years (2004, 2005 and
2006)…team finished third in the state tournament in 2004
and 2006, while it placed fourth in 2005…also a four-year
member and senior captain of the varsity basketball team…was
a mid-distance runner for four years on the varsity track and field
team as the team won the Region 8A championship in
2004…Student Body President, National Honor Society
President and Freshman Class President…member of the Student
Council…earned the United States Army Reserve National
Scholar Athlete Award in 2007…received the South Dakota
Regents’ Scholar Diploma in 2007…earned Academic
All-State honors in 2006 and received the Black Hills Conference
Academic Award in 2007.
Personal: Daughter of Pat Ginsbach and Jane
Farrell…has one brother (Frank) and one sister (Mary
Clair)...an Environmental Studies major.
