Volleyball To Hold A "Pink For A Purpose" Event On Oct. 21-22

WORCESTER, Mass. ­– On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22, the Holy Cross volleyball team will hold a "Pink for a Purpose" event at its matches versus Lehigh and Lafayette at the Holy Cross Field House. The Lehigh match is on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and the Lafayette contest is on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

PINK Revolution is an alliance of dedicated individuals with a unified commitment to those touched by breast cancer. Its mission is to support early detection and prevention strategies, fund clinical research advancements and promote survivorship programs in Central Mass. through its affiliation with the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center.

The volleyball team's "Pink for a Purpose" is just one of the events being held on campus, as the field hockey team will also be hosting the "Think Pink" event at its game versus Colgate on Oct. 22 at noon.
