Crusaders To Play At Harvard & Then Host Colgate & Bucknell

- The Holy Cross volleyball team will return to action when it plays at Harvard on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Malkin Athletic Center. To watch the match go here. The Crusaders will then play two home Patriot League matches on Sept. 28-29 at the Holy Cross Field House. On Friday, the Crusaders will take on Colgate and on Saturday they will meet Bucknell. Both matches can be seen on Crusader Vision.
- Harvard is 2-9 overall so far this season with a 0-1 record in the Ivy League. The Crusaders lost to the Crimson twice last season. Two years ago the Crusaders defeated Harvard for the first time since the 1993 season as the Crimson had won 15 straight over the Crusaders. Colgate is 4-10 overall and 2-0 in the Patriot League. The Raiders defeated Lehigh and Lafayette last week. Holy Cross defeated the Raiders by a 3-1 score in last year's season-finale. This was the first win by the Crusaders over the Raiders since a 3-0 victory on Nov. 12, 2004 as Colgate had won 13 straight in the series. Bucknell is 6-9 overall and 0-2 in the Patriot League. The Bison lost to Lafayette and Lehigh last week. The Crusaders went 1-1 versus Bucknell last season.
- Senior captain Megan Lynch (Mendham, N.J.) has 1,336 career kills and 991 career digs. She holds the school record for kills.
- Senior captain Elizabeth Watters (San Francisco, Calif.) is sixth in the conference with 4.04 digs per set, while Lynch is also sixth in the Patriot League with 2.62 kills per set. Sophomore Hannah Grace Stokes (Atlanta, Ga.) is 10th in the league with 4.04 assists per set.
