
Cortney Bliss is in her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Holy Cross in 2009.
A 2004 graduate of American International, Bliss was a captain of the volleyball team and earned 2002 All-Northeast-10 and All-Northeast 10 Tournament honors.
A native of Orlando, Fla., she was a four-year
captain of the varsity volleyball team at Winter Springs H.S. She
was the Seminole Athletic Conference Player of the Year (1998-1999)
and an All-State selection (1996-1999). She was also a founding
member of the Orlando Volleyball Academy where she played from
1995-2000. The team finished top 10 in the nation in the open
division from 1995-2000 at the USVBA National Finals. The team
placed third in the open division in 2000 at the USVBA National
Finals and the AAU Finals.
