         <description><![CDATA[Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head volleyball coach Marritt Cafarchia have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2008 season. Holy Cross is scheduled to play a total of 28 matches this season, including 12 home contests at the Holy Cross Field House. The Crusaders will open the season on the road at Providence on Sept. 3. Holy Cross will then take part in the first of three regular season tournaments when it faces Hartford, Rider and Bryant at the Sacred Heart Invitational (Sept. 5-6). The Crusaders then play their home-opener against Dartmouth on Sept. 8, followed by a home match versus Central Connecticut on Sept. 10.]]></description>

Kathleen Colpoys, Libby Malloy and Mallaigh McGinley will join the Holy Cross program for the 2008-2009 academic year. The Crusaders are set to open the season on the road at Providence on Wednesday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m., while their first home match of the year at the Holy Cross Field House will be against Dartmouth on Monday, September 8.]]></description>

The award was presented at the 53rd annual Holy Cross Varsity Club dinner, held at the Hogan Campus Center on Satruday, May 3.A three-time All-Patriot League selection, Strawson led the Crusaders with 316 kills this season, while placing second on the team with 233 digs. She ranked fourth in the Patriot League in kills and ninth in digs.]]></description>

These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The public recognition awards are part of the broad Division I academic reform effort. He is stepping down to become the Senior Program Director at the Bernon Family YMCA in Franklin, Mass. A search to fill the position is underway. A native of Milford, Mass., Ridolfi's teams enjoyed great success in the classroom. In the past six seasons, the Crusaders have earned 43 selections to the Academic Honor Roll.]]></description>
