BOSTON, Mass. - The Holy Cross volleyball team fell to Boston College, 3-0, by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 27-25, at the Northeastern Tournament on Saturday. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-10 overall, while the Eagles improve to 6-5. Holy Cross will conclude the tournament on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., when it plays Northeastern.
Sophomore setter Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) recorded her third double-double of the season and the sixth of her career with 18 assists and 11 digs, while junior co-captain Samantha Surface (Fresno, Calif.) led the Crusaders with 11 kills. Sophomore libero Angela Chisholm (Millis, Mass.) had a team-best 13 digs.
The Eagles were led by Jordan Meredith's 14 kills and Dani Moskitis' 33 assists. Tori Thompson added 10 kills, while Brennan Clark had 16 digs.
