HC Names Jessica Cegarra Assistant Volleyball Coach

WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross has named Jessica Cegarra as an assistant volleyball coach, as announced by head coach Chris Ridolfi and Athletic Director Richard M. Regan, Jr. In addition to her coaching duties, Cegarra will also serve as an assistant in the Holy Cross athletic media relations and compliance offices.

Cegarra, a 2007 graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., was a four-year member of the volleyball team, serving as team captain her senior year. She was a four-time Northeast 10 All-Conference selection, while she earned Northeast 10 and AVCA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year honors. Bryant won the Northeast 10 Tournament three times and earned a spot in the NCAA Division II Regional four times as the team went 102-42 in Cegarra's four seasons. Cegarra, who was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, was also a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams as she set the school record in the shot putt for both indoor and outdoor.
