WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's cross country team has placed nine runners on the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Sophomore Katie Holdridge (Preston, Conn.) and freshman Caroline Morano (Ridgewood, N.J.) led the Crusaders, each earning a 3.93 grade-point average for the fall semester.
Other Crusader named to the honor roll include seniors Kerry Dunne (Mendham, N.J.), Emily Hughes (Milton, Mass.), Sandra van den Heuvel (Nashua, N.H.) and Amanda Waldron (Walpole, Mass.), sophomore Caroline Carley (Barrington, Ill.) and freshmen Emily Iannaconi (Long Valley, N.J.) and Anne Mullican (Terre Haute, Ind.).
A total of 115 student-athletes from women's cross country teams from around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average or better in the fall semester.
