These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The public recognition awards are part of the broad Division I academic reform effort.The Crusader programs to be honored with public recognition awards were baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, women's cross country, football, men's golf, women's golf, women's lacrosse, softball, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, men's tennis, women's indoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, and volleyball.]]></description>

The Crusaders sent 13 athletes to compete in the meet, seven on the women's team six on the men's. The women would take 22nd place with a score of 649. Leading the women Crusaders was junior Caitlin Paluilis in 101st place with a time of 22:48.35. Following her was junior Elizabeth Alizzi in 115th place with a time of 23:02.20.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Caitlin Paluilis has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 22-28. Paluilis led the Holy Cross women's cross country team to a seventh place finish at the Patriot League Championship, held in Easton, Pa.At the Patriot League Championship, Paluilis was the top finisher for the Crusaders, coming in 10th place overall in a time of 21:54.10. She had the best individual finish by a Holy Cross runner in the meet since 1998.]]></description>

In a long rainy day, the Crusaders would finish the meet in seventh place with a total team score of 140. Bucknell and Navy would tie for the first place title with 58 points.Caitlin Paluilis was the first Crusader across the finish line with a time of 21:54.10 and a 10th place finish. With this exceptional finish she would be named second team All-Patriot League.]]></description>

Followed right behind him in 30th place was junior teammate Brad Mish with a time of 26:18.00. New Hampshire took first in the invitational for the men's side today.]]></description>

Women's cross country polls picked Bucknell to finish first with 13 first place votes(96 points) while Navy followed with 2 votes (73 points), Colgate (69 points), Lehigh (1 vote and 65 points), Army (57 points), American (40 points), Lafayette (34 points), and Holy Cross( 14 points).]]></description>
