BOSTON, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's cross country team placed 10th out of 44 teams with a total of 367 points at the New England Championship on Saturday afternoon. Junior Caitlin Paluilis (Pittsfield, Mass.) led the Crusaders as she finished in 21st place with a time of 18:55. Quinnipiac won the event with 72 total points.

Freshman Rose Calvo (Rocky Hill, Conn.) had the second best time for the Crusaders with a time of 19:41 which was good enough for 72nd place, while junior Elizabeth Alizzi (Syosset, N.Y.) had a time of 19:42 and a 73rd place finish.

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, October 13 when they compete at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., at 11:00 a.m.
