Holy Cross Athletics announced today that the department is offering complimentary game tickets to any U.S. government employee currently on furlough. This offer is good for all home games played at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex, and is valid through the end of the current government shutdown.

After an incredible 34-year career on the benches of both the Holy Cross women's and men's ice hockey programs, head women's hockey coach Peter Van Buskirk has announced his retirement, effective at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season, the Crusaders' first as full members of the prestigious Hockey East.

College of the Holy Cross Director of Athletics Nathan Pine has been named the Director of Athletics at the United States Air Force Academy and will step down from his position at Holy Cross in January, announced President Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J. Thursday afternoon.

On Friday, Dec. 7, the 11th Annual Benching for Breast Cancer fundraiser will take place in the Carol & Park B. Smith '54 Sports Performance Center at 5:00 p.m. Benching for Breast Cancer is a weight lifting competition between teams of four. Prizes are awarded for the best team costume, most enthusiastic team and the team with the most donations raised, along with raffle prizes.
