Nine members of the Holy Cross women's tennis team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league Wednesday.
Seven Crusader student-athletes are among a group of graduating Holy Cross seniors who have been selected as winners of awards for academic excellence and leadership in service during the 2018-2019 school year. Seniors Jackie Brewster (softball), Declan Cronin (baseball), Martin Dorsey (football), Caroline Kam (women's tennis), Marcellis Perkins (men's basketball), Christopher Puntasecca (men's track and field), Jerome Siangco (men's rowing) are the athletes who have been honored.
Eighteen College of the Holy Cross varsity athletic teams have received Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards from the NCAA. These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. Holy Cross finished in a four-way tie for first in the nation among all Division I athletic programs in the number of teams honored (18), matching the total of Brown, Columbia and Dartmouth.
