2013: Played in 10 games…posted one ground ball in contest against UMass (3/20)…earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll accolades.  

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Salem High School for coach Faith Wahlen…two-year teamcaptain…earned 2011 and 2012 second team All-State accolades…named the 2012 Moynihan Lumber Merrimack Valley Female Scholar Athlete of theYear…won the 2012 NHIAA Sportsmanship Award forwomen’s lacrosse…posted 123 goals and 57 assists for180 career points…as a senior, totaled 81 points on 62 goals and 19 assists…selected to the 2012 NHIAA Twin State All-Star team…also played three yearsof varsity soccer, serving as a senior captain…earned 2011honorable mention All-State accolades in soccer…two-year member and senior captain of the varsity basketball team…named the school’s 2011 Fall Female Scholar Athlete, and the 2011 and 2012 Winter Female Scholar Athlete…graduated second in her class…secretary of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Craig and Elisa Burns…father was the captain of the football team at Plymouth State (Class of 1989) and set the school record for interceptions with 10 in 1987…has one brother (Jake)...a Biology major.
