Tom Hill is currently in his first season at Holy Cross as an assistant men's hockey coach in 2018-19.
Hill comes to Holy Cross after spending the last five seasons as the director of hockey operations at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Prior to serving as the director of operations, Hill spent the 2012-13 season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Red Hawks. Hill helped Miami to two 26-win seasons, a 2015 NCHC Championship, and NCAA Tournament appearance. Hill coordinated video for the team while assisting in skill-development and in-game strategy. In his tenure at Miami, the assistant coach also obtained his master’s degree in sports studies.
Hill is a 2012 graduate of Ferris State, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in sport communication. While at Ferris State, Hill captained the 2011-12 team, who finished as the national finalist. He received the team’s Most Competitive Award in consecutive seasons (2011, 2012) as well as the team’s Most Improved Player (2010).
