Quincy Lewis will be in her first season as an assistant softball coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2018. She will serve as the team’s pitching coach, in addition to having extensive responsibilities in recruiting, skill instruction and game preparation.

Lewis came to Holy Cross after spending the 2017 season as an assistant coach at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. She helped lead the Lynx to an overall record of 22-21 and a third place finish in the Southern Athletic Association, with two of the team’s pitchers earning All-Conference honors. Lewis has also served as a private pitching coach, in addition to having experience with the Shelby County (Tenn.) School District, Shippensburg (Pa.) Area High School and the 12U Lady Rebels softball program in Elmira, N.Y.

As an undergraduate, Lewis began her career by playing two seasons at LIU Post. She posted a 1.28 earned run average and ranked second in the nation with eight saves in 2014, while helping the team to an appearance in the Division II College World Series. Lewis then transferred to Shippensburg University where she posted a 2.94 earned run average in 2015 before having her career cut short due to injury.

Lewis earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Shippensburg in 2016, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration from Arkansas State University.
