WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women’s basketball team is set to continue Patriot League action Wednesday, as the Crusaders play host to Army West Point in Worcester. Saturday’s game will be broadcast locally on Charter TV3 and online via the Patriot League Network on PatriotLeague.TV. In addition, the game will be broadcast on Emmanuel Radio (1230 AM | 1230radio.com) with Bob Fouracre on play-by-play.

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
• Holy Cross most recently took a 64-58 loss to Boston University on Saturday in Worcester.
• Sophomore Lauren Manis leads the Patriot League with 18.2 points per game and ranks fourth in rebounds per game with 9.1.
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring with 17.2 points per game. She notched her 1,000th career point in the win over Vermont with a jump shot in the third quarter, becoming the 33rd player in program history to reach the milestone.
• Head Coach Bill Gibbons is one win away from his 600th career victory, having earned his 599th career win against Lafayette on Jan. 27.

SERIES QUICK HITS
• The Crusaders are 35-28 all-time against Army.
• In the last meeting between the two programs, Holy Cross defeated the Black Knights 70-62 in overtime on Jan. 17 at West Point.
• The first meeting between these teams took place on Jan. 23, 1991, with the Crusaders earning a 67-57 win over Army in Worcester.
• In games played in Worcester, Holy Cross leads the all-time series at 18-12.

LAST TIME OUT
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed led the Holy Cross women’s basketball team with 31 points, but the Crusaders took a 64-58 defeat to Boston University on Saturday afternoon.
• Thomas-Waheed earned a new career-high with 31 points and added three steals while shooting 7-for-14 from three-point range for Holy Cross (10-14, 5-8). 
• She became the first Crusader to post 30 or more points in a game since Raquel Scott scored 36 at Penn State on Nov. 13, 2015. 
• Sophomore Nicole Morris posted eight points while shooting 3-for-4 from the field. 
• Boston University (10-13, 5-8) was led by Nia Irving, who posted a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. 
• Naiyah Thompson (11) and Katie Nelson (10) also scored in double digits for the Terriers.
• BU shot 46.9% (23-49) from the field while the Crusaders shot 33.9% (20-59). 
• From three-point range BU posted 37.5% (3-8) of its shots, while holding Holy Cross to 35.5% (11-31). 
• At the free throw line, the Terriers shot 65.2% (15-23) as the Crusaders posted 58.3% (7-12).

SCOUTING REPORT ON ARMY
• Army West Point enters Wednesday night’s contest with a 12-12 overall record and 5-8 mark in Patriot League play. They most recently fell to Navy 55-46 on Saturday, but have won three of their last five games.
• Holy Cross defeated the Black Knights 70-62 in overtime in the team’s first meeting of the season on Jan. 17 at West Point.
• Madison Hovren leads the Black Knights’ offense with 15.0 points per game while shooting 44.5%.
• Hovren is also the team’s leading rebounder with an average of 10.4 boards per game. She is one of three players in the Patriot League averaging double-digit points and rebounds.
• Head coach Dave Magarity is in his 12th season with the Black Knights.

• Following the game with Army, the Crusaders will return to action on Feb. 17, when they will travel to Bucknell for a 2:00 p.m. game.
