The Holy Cross men’s basketball team will play its final regular season game of the year when it heads to Colgate for a 2:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Feb. 24. The game between the Crusaders and the Raiders can be seen online through the Patriot League Network, and will also air live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross enters the contest with an overall record of 11-17 and an 8-9 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders are currently in sixth place in the conference, and will be either the sixth or seventh seed in the Patriot League Tournament. If Holy Cross defeats Colgate or Lafayette loses to Lehigh on Saturday, the Crusaders will finish sixth and earn a bye into the quarterfinals. If Holy Cross falls to Colgate and Lafayette downs Lehigh, the Crusaders will be the seventh seed and will play host to American in the first round.

Junior forward Jehyve Floyd has led the team by averaging 12.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, while ranking sixth in the nation with a .661 field goal percentage. Freshman guard Austin Butler has also been playing well, with averages of 9.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest. Freshman guard Caleb Green has added 8.9 points, 2.8 assists and 2.4 boards per game, while freshman forward Jacob Grandison is chipping in with 8.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest.

Colgate enters the game with an overall record of 16-12 and an 11-6 mark in conference play. The Colgate can lock up the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament with a victory, and could drop to third with a loss.

Sophomore forward Will Rayman has led the team by averaging 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while hitting 41.7 percent of his three-point field goals. Senior forward Jordan Swopshire (12.4 points per game), freshman guard Jordan Burns (11.8 points per game) and senior guard Sean O’Brien (10.9 points per game) are also scoring in double figures for the Raiders.

Following the contest with Colgate, the Crusaders will open play in the Patriot League Tournament in either the first round (Tuesday, Feb. 27) or the quarterfinals (Thursday, March 1).
