Men's Lacrosse Defeated in Turnpike Trophy Game, 9-4
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s lacrosse team dropped its season finale to Boston University, 9-4.
The Terriers (7-7, 3-5 PL) took a 2-0 lead over the Crusaders (4-9, 2-6 PL) and continued the scoring through the second quarter. At the half, BU held a 7-1 advantage. The scoring was even at 2-2 in the third quarter, but Holy Cross could not erase the BU deficit. In the final quarter, Holy Cross scored the lone goal but finished the game down, 9-4.
Logan LeBlond put up two goals.
Kevin Kodzis scored a goal and added an assist.

The Terriers scored at 6:59 and 2:34 for a 2-0 lead.
Quarter 2 | HC 1 BU 7
BU went on a five goal run, scoring at 14:27, 13:05, 10:22, and 10:15 to lead 7-0.
Quarter 3 | HC 3 BU 9
The Terriers put up the first two goals of the quarter at 14:31 and 8:50. Each BU goal came on the extra-man opportunity.
To close the quarter, LeBlond fired off a goal and was assisted by Justin Lynskey.
