Women's Lacrosse Falls at No. 9 Loyola
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team was defeated at No. 9 Loyola Maryland, 23-3 on April 28.
With Loyola (14-3, 9-0 PL) scoring the first two goals, Holy Cross (6-11, 4-5 PL) narrowed the lead with a goal of their own before the Greyhounds took off. Loyola scored 11 goals to close the half with a 13-2 lead. In the second Half, Loyola started with nine goal run before the Crusaders scored their third of the game and ultimately fell, 23-3.
Bryn Carroll tallied two assists on the game.
Keely Connors posted eight draw controls to push her season total to 79. Connors is now the all-time single season draw control leader at Holy Cross.
Julia Maloney made 11 saves in 36 minutes of play.

The Crusaders move on to the Patriot League playoffs for the first time since 2015 as the sixth-seeded team. Holy Cross will travel to three-seed Lehigh for the Patriot League Quarterfinals on May 1 at 6:00 p.m.
