Men's Golf Places Eight On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Eight members of the Holy Cross men’s golf team were named to the 2018 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Monday. The Crusaders tied with Loyola (Md.) for the most student-athletes receiving the honor.
Sophomore Trevor Merril led Holy Cross with a 3.75 GPA during the spring semester to earn his first selection to the honor roll. Senior Joe Blando earned his third-straight selection, while sophomores Tom Dzwonczyk and Joe Brosseau earned their second-straight honors. Junior Joe Egan also made the honor roll for the second time in his career. Other first-time selections included junior Jake Peer along with freshmen Ryan Camille and Harrison Thayer.
A total of 43 student-athletes from men's golf teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
